Various ‎– Ska Authentic – Ska-Talites – Skatalites

This is an original 1964 first pressing of Ska Authentic on ND Records (JBL 1112) — an extremely scarce Jamaican release featuring The Skatalites in their prime. Early Jamaican pressings were produced in very small runs and rarely survive in collectible condition. In 2002, this album was added to the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry for its cultural and historical significance, which has only increased demand among serious collectors.

Both media and sleeve are solid VG+, which is unusually clean for a Jamaican ska LP of this era. Copies in this condition almost never surface, and the price reflects its rarity, historical importance, and the strength of this particular pressing.
